How should I care for my print?
To keep your photographic print looking its best for years to come, I recommend displaying it away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and moisture.
If you're having your print professionally framed, I strongly recommend leaving it in its original packaging and allowing your framer to unpack and handle it. This helps protect the delicate paper surface from fingerprints, creases, dust and accidental damage. Professional framers have the experience and equipment to handle fine art prints safely.
If you do need to handle your unframed print, always use clean, dry hands and hold it carefully by the edges, avoiding contact with the printed surface.
For framed prints, gently clean the glass with a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the glass or frame.
Can I return or exchange my print if I change my mind?
Each photographic print is made to order, so returns or exchanges for a change of mind are generally not accepted.
If your print arrives damaged or faulty, your print will be replaced as soon as possible.
Will the colours of my print look exactly as they do on my screen?
Every effort is made to ensure my photographic prints accurately reflect the colours and tones of the original image.
Please keep in mind that colours may appear slightly different in print compared to what you see on your screen, as individual devices vary in brightness, colour settings and calibration.
All prints are professionally produced using high-quality archival paper to ensure beautiful colour, detail and longevity.
What is the difference between a full-bleed print and a white border?
A full-bleed print means the photograph extends right to the edge of the paper, creating a clean, contemporary look.
A white border provides a more traditional gallery-style finish, with white space surrounding the photograph. The border is printed as part of the artwork rather than created using a separate mat board.
Both options have the same overall print and frame dimensions. The white border option is available for framed prints only.
Do your prints come framed or unframed?
All photographic prints are available unframed or professionally framed in your choice of black, white or natural oak.
Framed prints arrive ready to hang and can be ordered with the photograph extending to the edge of the paper or with a white border for a more traditional gallery-style finish.
Please note that Super A0 prints are available unframed only.
What is fine art/giclée printing?
Fine art printing is also known as archival pigment printing or giclée printing. It’s the process of inkjet printing on fine art papers to produce archival, gallery quality art prints. For longevity and colour accuracy fine art printing is superior. Our printing company use the latest EPSON fine art printers and EPSON Ultrachrome K3 ARCHIVAL inks that result in eye-popping colours, super black blacks and sharp details.
Do you use a drone to take your images?
No, all of my aerial work is photographed from a small plane or helicopter. Typically with the doors off or window open! This way I can get to places and heights that are unreachable via drone.
What print sizes are available?
My photographic prints are available in the following standard sizes:
A4: 210 x 297 mm
A3: 297 x 420 mm
A2: 420 x 594 mm
A1: 594 x 841 mm
A0: 841 x 1189 mm
Super A0: 1000 x 1414 mm

Can I Customise My Own Size?
Yes, I'm happy to discuss custom sizing options, depending on the photograph you're interested in.
This is particularly useful if you have an existing frame you'd like to repurpose or a specific space you're looking to fill.

Where are you based, and do you travel for photography projects?
I'm based in Oamaru, on New Zealand's beautiful South Island, but my photography takes me throughout New Zealand and overseas.

What if my print is received damaged in the post? Can you reprint my order?
Yes, this very rarely happens, but if there is any damage to your print, we will reprint and send out to you at no charge.

For international orders, please allow up to three weeks for delivery.
